Most of you begin your next hunt planning as soon as one ends. We are the same way. West Elk Outfitters is beginning our booking for 2016 hunting season. With some new hunting ranches in the works for some even better early elk hunting and some prime mule deer hunting ranches also in the works.
Contact us for your next guided over the counter hunt or maybe your looking for a semi guided elk hunt we offer it all. We have some great over the counter elk hunting opportunity. Succes has been great on some nice 6x6 bulls. Or maybe your sitting on alot of preference points and are looking for that extra special hunt we can guide you in units 61, 201, 2, 1, and a portion of unit 10. These units are great at producing bulls scoring into the high 350-360's and a fe even higher. You will need 15+ preference points to begin thinking about drawing any of these units with a few taking 23 to get your tag.
West Elk Outfitters has some outstanding mule deer hunting in western Colorado. With some great private ranches and BLM permits to encompase the winter range we have some of the best mule deer hunting around. We have a hunt for everyone from the trophy hunter to the management hunt. You can purchase a landowner voucher from one of our landowners or you can apply for the tag.
